The annual light and sound spectacle on the Federal Palace facade
For five weeks, from 16 October to 20 November 2021, the "Planet Hope" hoisted its sails three times every evening and projected an audio-visual spectacle onto the façade of the Parliament building. Rendez-vous Bundesplatz dedicated this year's light and sound spectacle to the journey of the ark. Last year, the performances had to be stopped prematurely due to the pandemic. This year, "Planet Hope" picked up again - with new scenes compared to the previous year.
Around 241,000 visitors saw "Planet Hope - Comeback". As a long-standing partner, auviso was again responsible for the technical implementation of the façade projection this year. Eight high-performance projectors created an almost shadow-free projection surface on the Federal Palace; projected from three specially developed projection towers. With a total light output of 248,000 ansi-lumens, night literally became day. Two loudspeaker towers on the balcony of the Council of States also provided first-class sound quality. On the part of auviso, an event technician was present every evening to ensure the operation.
