Annual theme "Switzerland and Europe under China's spell" hits the nerve of the time
The Europe Forum Lucerne is aimed at decision-makers from business, science, civil society and politics who are concerned about the future viability of an open Switzerland in a strong Europe. The Forum is an outstanding platform for them to reflect with selected personalities on a relevant annual topic from a European perspective, to develop answers and to derive implications for themselves, for Switzerland and for Europe.
The Annual Meeting took place on 24 and 25 November 2021 in the KKL Lucerne. The event was dedicated to the annual theme "Switzerland and Europe under the spell of China". At the opening, high-profile participants - including Federal Councillor Ignazio Cassis and former Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard - spoke about perspectives, challenges, opportunities and possible solutions. On the second day of the event, the symposium, representatives from business and politics were able to exchange views on the challenges and set new impulses. Around 700 participants were expected on site.
As in the past two years, auvsio was in the thick of things as a technical and networking partner. The extensive and exciting project included the planning and implementation of the event technology in the Lucerne Hall, in the seven workshop rooms and in the foyer in front of the Lucerne Hall, which served as a networking zone and presentation area for the four main sponsors. In addition, we supported the event design.
We were also able to provide technical support for several side events, including the VIP evening at the Hotel Schweizerhof Lucerne and a trip on an SGV ship.
