First time. Unique. Superlative. The DCL is the world's first live high-speed racing series for drones. In eight international teams, the best drone pilots compete against each other and try to steer their self-built drones through a course at up to 140 kilometres per hour. The Drone Champions League races have so far taken place in Germany, France, Belgium, Romania, Liechtenstein, Spain and China.
In 2019, the world-famous Laax Snowpark with the longest halfpipe in the world served as the venue for the drone race. auviso supported the outdoor event with stage technology, rigging, lighting and audio technology. In particular, the truss structures and tunnels, which were used to attach the safety nets, were of enormous importance for the implementation of the event.
Thanks to our experience from various outdoor projects, neither the complex logistics involved in transporting the event technology to an altitude of 2250 metres nor the existing snow posed a challenge.
