At Bözberg in the canton of Aargau, Swissgrid has laid part of a high-voltage line in the ground for the first time. Even though the cable trench has already been filled in again and the pipe blocks are no longer visible, it is still worth visiting the exhibition in the visitor centre.
auviso implemented the exhibition structurally and was responsible for the interior fittings and the installation of the media technology as well as its programming. The exhibition thus becomes an interactive world of experience - both visually and acoustically. Further partners in the realisation were Scholtysik & Partner AG (spatial staging and multimedia preparation of the content) and Infrakom AG (text editing and content curation).
The visitor centre in Bözberg is a platform to objectively demonstrate and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of overhead lines and underground cabling. Guided tours for individuals or groups are free of charge and can be booked online.
