SQUARE - The Future of Learning and Teaching
SQUARE at the University of St.Gallen (HSG) is an experimental field for new forms of learning and teaching as well as a forum for dialogue that promotes interaction between students, teachers and people from the field.
Based on a didactic concept and an intentional programme, SQUARE connects the future-oriented education of students with the lifelong learning of HSG alumni and enables the public a new access to the university. In this way, SQUARE acts as an ecosystem for the further development of the learning and teaching culture at the HSG and beyond.
auviso was allowed to participate in the new building as a technical partner. We were able to install various displays for digital signage applications, 4 Barco LED walls, 1 of which is mobile and height-adjustable. auviso was able to take over the complete building sound system and also prepare 9 rooms for use with conference technology. These rooms allow BYOD conferences. In addition, two large conference rooms are equipped with LED walls, permanently installed PTZ cameras and image computers. We were also able to install room booking displays and, best of all, the AV technology can be controlled per room and overall via fixed and mobile touch panels.
We are also pleased to have been able to support the big opening on 11.02.2022 with a stage and all the event technology.
