Freilichtspiele Luzern continued the Shakespeare trilogy after 2019: after the successful 2019 staging of "Was ihr wollt" in the adaptation by Thomas Hürlimann at the EWL-Areal, the production of "Viel Lärm um nichts" in the adaptation by Charles Lewinsky, directed by Ueli Blum, was staged at Tribschen in 2022.
Since 2005, eight renowned productions have been staged at Tribschen and once at the EWL site in Lucerne. Thanks to the constant collaboration with Central Swiss cultural practitioners as well as nationally renowned authors and directors, Freilichtspiele Luzern is strongly anchored culturally in Central Switzerland and also enjoys great recognition. The stage is set for Shakespeare on Tribschen in 2022 - in a new dialect version.
This year's Lucerne Open Air Festival took place from 7 June to 17 July on Tribschen. As in previous years, auviso was able to provide technical support for the open air festival and we were also involved as the main sponsor. Around 4,600 spectators were able to marvel at the spectacle.
