Lecture hall renovation at Lucerne Cantonal Hospital
The auditorium of the LUKS Spitalzentrum shines in new splendour after a comprehensive modernization. The installation of state-of-the-art audio and video technology has created an optimal event environment.
The auditorium at the LUKS Hospital Center is the only one of its kind and size on the entire site. Around 1000 events are held in it every year, over 120 of which are supervised by internal specialist staff. The remaining events are held automatically without technical support.
For the renovation of this lecture hall, we were able to undertake a comprehensive modernization of the audio and video technology. The entire refurbishment took place within a period of just four weeks. The lighting and the ceiling construction were completely renewed. In addition, all blinds and windows, as well as the associated electrics, were refreshed and the hall technology, including the rack room, the control room and the editing room, was rebuilt. The technology in the foyer and reception area was also expanded.
The undisputed highlight of this project is the impressive, high-resolution 960x324 cm LED wall, which enables razor-sharp live transmission from the operating theater. This is complemented by the automated autotracking system for the cameras in the operating room, which are controlled by the autotracking mode in self-propelled mode.
Thanks to the comprehensive technical upgrades, both internal and external users of the lecture hall can enjoy improved audio and video quality that meets the high demands of modern presentation and event formats.
