Media technology in harmony with architecture and acoustics

Amidst the impressive natural scenery of Lake Schwendisee, the Klanghaus Toggenburg has emerged as a place where architecture, sound, and nature merge in a truly unique way. Conceived as a “walk-in instrument,” the building features four acoustically optimized sound spaces and two outdoor stages, offering ideal conditions for musical experiments, rehearsals, and performances.
We were responsible for the technical implementation in the areas of audio and media control. Together with specialist planner Tingo, who handled the media technology planning, we developed tailor-made solutions that meet both the high aesthetic standards of the architecture and the functional requirements of the users. The goal was to complement the building’s exceptional wooden acoustics with precisely tuned media technology and to fully support the diverse uses of the space.
Thanks to close collaboration with Tingo, the architects, the Klangwelt Toggenburg Foundation, and other project partners, an integrated media technology system was created—making the Klanghaus a truly unique experiential space for musicians and sound enthusiasts alike.
