The station clock is a valuable identity feature for SBB and Switzerland. The SBB clock symbolizes innovation and reliability in an unmistakably timeless and purist design. The SBB station clock is also a daily promise of performance to our customers. In Bern, at Hilfikerstrasse 1, which was named after the SBB employee, engineer and designer Hans Hilfiker, who designed the clock, stands the largest digital version of this world-famous SBB station clock.
Our task was to revitalize the oversized LED clock. Each LED panel was refurbished to ensure a vibrant display. At the same time, we overhauled the clock's entire hardware and software to ensure reliable and advanced control. The aim was to retain the existing clock's SBB design while optimizing its functionality.
