Tradition meets modern event technology: Blumer Lehmann staged an impressive anniversary celebration to mark its 150th anniversary, which made a lasting impression on guests and employees alike. With a sophisticated technical implementation, the new production hall became an atmospheric stage for two unforgettable days.
150 years of Blumer Lehmann - An anniversary that combines technology and emotionWe love Future. For 150 years." Under this motto, Blumer Lehmann celebrated its 150th anniversary and the opening of its new headquarters with a two-day event that delighted both customers and employees.
Around 500 customers and suppliers were welcomed on the first day, while 800 employees were present on the second day. In order to cater to the different target groups, we designed and implemented the technical equipment to a high standard.
The focal point was a spacious main stage in the new production hall on which all the evening's program items took place. This stage was complemented by two side stages, each featuring a DJ and a band. Special attention was paid to a harmonious stage design. This was staged with atmospheric retro lights, matching backdrop lighting and show lighting. Two JB P12 gobos with the 150 years logo, which were integrated into the moving light concept, provided additional visual highlights on the stage and on the hall ceiling.
Large projection screens on the main stage and at the back of the hall provided a perfect view of the action. A sound system perfectly matched to the 65-meter-long area rounded off the technical concept and ensured an impressive sound experience right up to the last seat.
A special highlight of the events was a specially produced film highlighting the history of Blumer Lehmann, followed by the LED show act “The Blackouts”. For optimal transmission of the stage performance, a professional camera control system was used, which was equipped with both an operated camera and a PTZ camera.
The entire hall was bathed in an inviting light created by the use of Cameo spotlights. To create a special atmosphere, decorative Astera AX5 and Robe Patt retro luminaires were used, which were placed in the entrance area, along the pathways, in the bar, by the checkrooms and in the outdoor area. The additional spot lighting installed in the catering area of the adjoining hall meant that the general hall lighting could be dispensed with completely. This created a pleasant and harmonious atmosphere.
The façade of the new production hall was also showcased by alternating projections of the anniversary logo and the Blumer-Lehmann logo, and the façade was alternately bathed in the anniversary CI colors green and pink.
A dedicated team of 13 technicians was responsible for setting up and dismantling the event. Throughout the event, seven operators ensured that the technology ran smoothly and that all processes were perfectly coordinated.
We would like to thank Blumer Lehmann for the order and the successful collaboration!
