Since this semester, learning and teaching at KV Basel has been taking place in the newly occupied, fully equipped temporary campus. The temporary campus on the Klybeck site has been furnished to modern standards and thus offers optimal conditions for a future-orientated education.
The building at Aeschengraben 15, which was previously home to the KV Basel, will be replaced by a new building in the next few years. This will serve as a progressive campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure for both basic commercial training and tertiary further education and management training courses.
During the three-year construction phase, the KV Basel moved into a temporary building on the Klybeck site. As of the current semester, this temporary home not only fulfils the modern and future-oriented requirements of this educational institution, but has also been equipped by us with first-class technology. This offers both students and lecturers optimal conditions for learning and teaching.
In the temporary centre, 34 classrooms were equipped with state-of-the-art technology. Each classroom has a height-adjustable 98-inch display, which is complemented by active Fohhn loudspeakers for optimum intelligibility. Teachers and students also have access to a Samsung Flip digital whiteboard, which can be operated effortlessly and flexibly thanks to the touch panel.
In addition to the classrooms, the event room was also relocated to the temporary building and equipped with some new technology and software. These comprehensive technical upgrades are intended to ensure that learning and teaching can continue at the highest level during the construction phase.
The newly refurbished premises of KV Basel impressively demonstrate how modern technology and sustainable construction can go hand in hand to create an optimal learning environment.
We are proud to have helped shape this transition.
