New structures require innovative solutions - the media technology equipment for the new residents' council in Ebikon sets new standards.
The municipality of Ebikon is introducing a residents' council from autumn 2024, which requires extensive changes to the municipal bylaws and organisation. Together with a special committee, the municipal council has drawn up the key points of the new municipal regulations.
At the same time as drawing up the municipal regulations, the project team is defining the requirements for administrative staff as well as the structural and technical infrastructure needs of the residents' council.
For the introduction of the residents' council, we will set up the municipal assembly hall in accordance with all media technology requirements.
An intelligent microphone system enables the council meetings to be recorded. These recordings are converted directly into a comprehensive audio protocol using our systems and transcription software specially developed for council services.
This logging software has automatic speech recognition in all Swiss languages and dialects and translates them into written High German.
The audio protocol is then made available to the population of Ebikon on the website.
We have already realised the same solution for the municipality of Emmen.
Thanks to this innovative upgrade, both municipalities benefit from improved technical equipment, which now serves as real added value for municipal policy.
