The industry meeting place with relevant gastro trends
From 23 - 26 October 2022, the Gastro sector trade fair took place at the Lucerne Exhibition Centre. Around 148 exhibitors found their way to ZAGG and were able to present their products and services to visitors. Of course, the well-known Battle of ZAGG was also held again, with various teams competing against each other. Since last year's WorldSkills were cancelled due to the well-known circumstances in Shanghai, ZAGG was able to host the competitions in the areas of kitchen and catering as part of the decentralised format. Thus, WorldSkills 2022 was another highlight. This year's ZAGG offered a unique opportunity to experience the world's best young professionals from the kitchen and catering sectors.
On each of the four days of the fair, two businesses with three team members each cooked against each other. The service was taken over by a catering class that was also in the competition. Congratulations to the winners of the Battle of ZAGG.
At this year's trade fair, we were allowed to take over the entire event technology. This meant that we were involved from the planning stage right through to implementation. We were allowed to implement the technical details at various exhibition stands, place the suspension points for the Lucerne trade fair and help with the decoration of the Battle of ZAGG stage. This included, for example, the installation of retro lamps and the decoration. Furthermore, we were allowed to produce the introduction videos of the Battle of ZAGG teams in advance, which were broadcast at the ZAGG. For the restaurant Dyhrberg we were able to stage a restaurant in the exhibition hall and put it in the limelight with a variety of technology. For the WorldSkills, which took place during the ZAGG, we were able to take over and technically implement the opening and closing ceremonies. We were also able to equip various meeting rooms.
