The upcoming Pilatus Arena in Kriens will be an important milestone as a modern sports and event venue not only for sports and handball fans, but also for the entire region of Central Switzerland. With space for up to 4,500 spectators, it offers state-of-the-art sports and event technology that enables both national and international events. In addition to handball matches, other sports such as floorball, tennis and volleyball are also played here at the highest level.
One of the highlights of our technical implementation is an impressive video cube with 4 sides measuring 5 x 3 meters, which is used to broadcast matches and replays as well as display the score. This is complemented by a ribbon board on the second floor - a 183-metre-long LED board that is used to display advertising and can be used flexibly for various events. Mobile LED boards are also seamlessly integrated into the system.
Another core element is the entire sound system. It includes the audio equipment for both the spectator stands and the pitch, guaranteeing optimum sound quality at all matches and events. The evacuation and alarm announcement systems, including loudspeakers, are also installed to ensure maximum safety.
By integrating these technology solutions, we can ensure that the games and events in the Pilatus Arena are held at the highest level - both in terms of technology and the spectator experience.
