Renovation of the Landrat hall in the canton of Glarus
Multimedia integration in the listed hall
The historic town hall in the canton of Glarus has been gradually renovated and technically updated in recent years. As part of the overall renovation of the historic and listed Landrat hall, auviso was allowed to carry out the installation of all AV equipment.
Highlights from a technical point of view were the setting up of live broadcasts of the council debates on the internet and the use of voice recognition to support the taking of minutes. To make this possible, conference and voting systems were installed in all seats. This includes, among others, the seats of the council's sergeant-at-arms, council presidium, council office, council members and the press.
In addition to the conference and voting systems, other technical components were used: projection onto the existing screen, ceiling sound, wireless microphones, induction loop for the hearing impaired and monitors in the gallery as well as cameras.
